GLEN ALLEN, VA., September 29, 2009, Capitol Securities Management, Inc. today announced that the principals and advisors of Hawthorne Securities have joined Capitol Securities.
Citing the increasing regulatory, technology and personnel costs, of running an independent broker dealer and investment advisor, Robert Joseph, President, stated that he and his management staff wanted to devote all of their time to servicing the clients of their wealth management firm.
Hawthorne becomes the eighth independent broker dealer / investment advisor to join or be acquired by Capitol Securities. Previous firms were: First Southeastern, Brewster Securities, Washington Investment Corp, Dozier Whelan, First Chesapeake, Heritage Financial and FS Securities.
