15 May Capitol Securities Management, Inc. Welcomes Jerry Alley and Tip Tepper to Its Virginia-Based Team
Capitol Securities Management, Inc. continues its expansion plan by adding two new investment professionals to its team of advisors in Virginia. The company is pleased to welcome Jerry Alley and Tip Tepper. Alley will serve as an independent advisor in Norfolk; Tepper, as a traditional advisor in the Richmond regional office.
Capitol Securities Management, Inc. is a privately owned regional brokerage and investment firm based in Richmond, VA. A member of FINRA and SIPC, the firm has been serving the needs of its investors for over 25 years. Capitol Securities has seen impressive growth since 2008, during a time that saw many other firms disrupted by the financial crisis. Today, Capitol Securities has more than 240 full-time investment professionals in locations from New England to Florida, serving approximately 18,000 customer accounts. Alley and Tepper are among the newest advisors to join the team.
Capitol Securities credits the firm’s growth to a philosophy that is in direct contrast to that of household-name financial institutions: “Our philosophy is to empower our financial advisors with the right tools, the right compensation, and the freedom and flexibility to serve their clients’ best interests. The company was founded with the belief that culture defines a business. Getting it right is what gives us a competitive edge and a strong foundation for responsible business growth.”
With 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry, both Tepper and Alley join Capitol Securities having worked as Financial Advisors and Investment Managers. They were formerly employed with Stifel, Nicolaus and Company.
“Jerry Alley and Tim Tepper are two more success stories from our rapidly growing list of advisors who anticipate joining us over the course of the coming year. Successful advisors like Jerry and Tim come to us because they are able to get the best of both worlds: a people-first environment and an empowering payment schedule that benefits both financial professionals and their clients. As we look forward, we continue to welcome financial advisors who can thrive in our unique people-first environment and values-focused culture.”
